  My wife and I wanted to buy a luxury vehicle and not deal with a private party and for this reason we chose Acura of Los Gatos for a certified pre-owned vehicle. We were told this car had never been in an accident and that they knew the customer who was simply upgrading to a newer model. The passenger door did not line up and I asked our sales person and she told me that just need to adjust the door hinge probably. Paid for the extended warranty and had issue after issue and because we live in Modesto we dealt with Acura of Modesto on these issues. Anyhow, we went to upgrade our accurate now to a new Acura and during their inspection they noticed the VIN numbers did not match up on the passenger side and said without a doubt this car had been in an accident and when I notified Acura of Los Gatos, Kent the sales manager failed to ask me the correct questions that I would ask somebody who called me and instead of being concerned he simply kept asking me what am I trying to accomplish instead of apologizing and wanting to take steps to look into this situation. You simply cannot trust certified pre-owned or at least at Acura of Los Gatos.
